Picture books were a large part of my childhood. The feeling of holding the book in my lap, the excitement and anticipation of the story and the beautiful art to come, even the sound of a page turning, all of these things I can still feel today. I want to help to create these magical experiences for children today.
I am an illustrator and author, and an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
I was chosen as the SCBWI Artist of the Month for June 2013.
